Made in Lava it is of 'stonemason craft project Luca Scarantino and' architect Sabrina Sables.
The fusion of these experiences in technical and practical field allows us to design and produce handicrafts in stone and glazed lava stone to measure.
We develop a new way to work with the stone, combining the centenary tradition of the stonemason craftsman and a fresh new contemporary design.
We offer lines of products made in series or unique pieces directly commissioned by clients.
The laboratory is basing all his research on the technique of ceramic glazing of lava stone and in particular the Peperino, Viterbo lava stone.
MadeinLava develops projects with the study of shapes for the design lines, as well as providing technical service for customers, related to the design and planning with the use of graphics and modeling programs.

COMPANY HISTORY

Luca Scarantino, owner of the company, in 1993 he joined the faculty of Architecture of Rome "Sapienza"; in 1999 he attended courses at the School of Architecture of Volvic in France, learning the techniques of working of lava stone as a stone-cutter, engraver, designer and ceramicist of the lava rock.

After 10 years in business as a stonemason meets the arch. Sabrina Zibellini, graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of Rome "La Sapienza", with already made several international experiences also.
The two figures meet giving rise to this project and in 'April 2012 it is a legal level.
Currently MadeinLava is present in Vetralla (Viterbo) with the 'technical department and the seat of the Laboratory.
